A Message from Heather Gerhart, Founder and Executive Director

Hi There! I am delighted to introduce you to PTGM! Below you can read more about who we are, what we are doing, and why we are doing it. We are currently in the development process, building relationship with the community, networking with providers, and working towards raising the necessary funds to officially open Pathways to Grace. It is my personal hope that you leave this site feeling inspired and wondering how YOU can be a part of this wonderful ministry.

Mission

We strive to connect people to providers and ease the financial burden of therapeutic services to those in need. We are funded by the generous donations of people who believe in who we are, what we are doing, and share a passion for serving the mental health needs of the community.

Vision

We envision a community where no one faces hardship, and the journey toward healing, alone. A community where pathways to mental health, spiritual support, and faith-based resources are open and accessible to anyone who wants and needs them.

Why

We believe that with therapeutic support people overcome adversity, heal, grow, and in turn, impact the community in positive ways. There are significant barriers that keep people from receiving the quality care necessary to break out of challenging life circumstance that keep them stuck. We desire to become a trusted resource in the community for providing pathways through those barriers.

About the Founders

Heather Gerhart, RN, LMFT is the founder of PTGM. She has been providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families in private practice since 2021. She has a Level Two Certification in trauma (CCTP-II) and is currently working towards certification in EMDR. She uses a blend of modalities to treat complex individual and relational struggles. Her compassionate approach and professional guidance have helped numerous people on their journey towards healing and personal growth. With a 17 year career in Nursing prior to obtaining her LMFT, she brings added knowledge and understanding to complex medical issues and how they impact individuals and families.

Mike Wenger, LMFT, Ordained Minister, is the co-founder of PTGM. He is commitment to helping and guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing, restoration, and wholeness. Mike draws from a variety of theoretical frameworks and is certified in EMDR. He works with clients navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, and personal struggles such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. He is known for his warmth, kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the clients he serves.
